I just got a hold of a more accurate ZIP Code list and the Member ZIP Code search is now using the new list.
If you've used this feature before, try it now and see if you notice a difference in the results, and let me know.
UPDATE 9/27 5pm: I modified the code again. Please try again and see if the distances and locations that show up are better.

Adam,
Two possible glitches when searching a 20 mile radius around 14564.
1. It didn't find me.
2. It said the country Sweden is only a few miles from Victor, NY!
There is a town of Sweden about 30 miles from me.

Here are some answers:
1) Your profile is set to hide your contact info from others, therefore you will not show up in that list.
2) I fixed that now...only looks at USA addresses.

You are not looking far enough down, look under the "Privacy Options" near the bottom. (I'm talking about "My Profile" under "My Account", not "My C3 Registration").

Adam - I think there's something else amiss here. 
I reset my Privacy Options several different ways and would still appear in the list for my zip code when only the first option was selected. Selecting either the second or third option would drop me from the list, which it should do.

It says that 71913 is 18.3 miles from Missouri and 11 miles from Louisiana...
both of which are off by nearly 200 miles..
as a side note... i think 50 miles is too small a search area..
for instance it takes me around 45 minutes to get to the state capitol (Little Rock) on the interstate but it is about 60 miles from here..

Still some bugs, you pull 50 mile radius around my 78254 zip and it pulls people over 200 miles away
closer than Sweden though....

Just checked out the new zip code search my zip is 39532 (very southern Ms.) the search gave Wisconsin and othr Northern locations within the 50 mile radius.

Everything looks good except the mileage.
Some of them are accurate.
Some are up to 100 miles off.
I would prefer to see a 100 mile range rather than the 50.
