Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79

Thanks to suggestions from a few members, I would like to start a new feature on VetteRegistry.net called "Member Projects"

If you are working on something on your Vette, no matter how big or small, document it and take pictures.  Then send the documentation and pictures to projects@VetteRegistry.net

You can also submit projects that you have already finished if you can (or have) documentation and pictures.

The pictures are not a requirement, but can REALLY help people understand what they need to do.

The idea here is to help others get through performing a task that someone else already did, so they can learn from others mistakes and not have the same struggles.

I will create the section (and add projects) when I have time.

Any questions, let me know.

Thanks!

I'll dig through my stuff. I took a few pics while doing the frame off on mine.

I think it's a great idea, I love to look at works in progress!

After 2 years of putting this "came from a barn" car together there is place to pictures.... (Why didn't I think of that?) Oh well.... I can't wait to see what the next gen sharks roll out. Who know's maybe I will get lucky and be able to enter pics of the "bid" car & stuff.

Great idea. I have taken a few pics of several little jobs I have done on my vette over the years. As a matter of fact I am right in the middle of adding Harland Sharpe Roller Rockers and an Edlebrock RPM Airgap intake. I also shimmed my distributor to set the end play. I will shoot a few pics of the distributor shimming tomorrow night and submit them.

Looking forward to seeing all the projects.

I am in the middle of rebuilding the front suspension. The parts have been blasted and will be painted this weekend. I have pictures of some of the parts before blast. I will start taking pictures as I go and try an write some notes as I go.

Sweet idea!! Too bad mines all done, and no digital pics to be found.

I'm in the process of installing the new interior in the 80, insulation and carpets are in. Most of this stuff is well documented here. Afterall this is where I got my information. If there is anything someone thinks I should shoot before I wrap it up. I will be happy to do so. I'm trying to find a solution for the missing clip in one of the buckets. If I come up with something decent I'll put it out.

Adam, I think I have sent you a CD of the carb rebuild article that is posted on Ben's site.  If you don't have it, let me know and I will send one.
