Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
I have temporarily closed the General Non-Vette Discussion forum.
There have been some really unfriendly statements being made and that goes against everything this site is about!
I need some time to review what has been going on there and see what needs to be done. Some or all of the following may occur: certain members may receive warnings, some may be terminated, that forum's rules may change, that forum may be permanently closed.
As soon as I have time to sort this all out, I will let you know what I have decided.
Thank you.

Vette(s): 1973 Stingray Coupe and C5 and C6 Coupes.
Adam, maybe it would be best just to leave it closed.
This is a C3 Corvette Forum.
If folks want to discuss non-Vette issues there are plenty of other places on the web that are specifically designed for this purpose. Members can even IM between themselves if they so desire.
C3VR would better server the C3 community if we kept it to C3 and C3VR related topics.
Note: This is my 2 cents on the matter which may or may not be worth 2 cents to anyone but me.

I hate to see it closed, we do have a purpose and use for it. But I think we do need some restrictions.

I agree with Ken about restrictions. It should not be a soap box. I also promise to ignore threads that become a source of irritation.
Sorry if I've caused trouble (seriously!)

I do'nt think it needs to be closed down, but I do think we should keep politics out of it,that stuff,no matter how important,to some of us,can cause friction, lets leave it open, and try to act like adults
