** UPDATE 9/10/2003 ** (2 Items)
1) There seems to be a number of people arriving late-afternoon to early evening, including myself. For those early-early arrivals, lets plan to have dinner together (nothing fancy) at 7pm Friday.

2) Forecast for Hershey as of 6:25am EDT:
Friday: Times of sun and clouds. Highs in the mid 70s and lows in the mid 50s.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. Highs in the mid 70s and lows in the upper 50s.
Sunday: Partly cloudy. Highs in the low 80s and lows in the upper 60s.

** UPDATE 8/18/2003 ** (5 items)
1) The unclaimed rooms that we had blocked had to be released today. There were 17 of them. Hopefully everyone that wants to attend this gathering is already signed up!

2) I personally have received my final Parade Packet that has maps and my meeting times and locations. If you are signed up to participate in the parade, and you sent your application in on time, you should have also received your packet. If you have not yet received yours, wait another day or two, then call the parade coordinators at: 610-431-1121.

3) It looks like we have to line up for the parade pretty early, between 8am & 10am! That means that if you are staying at the hotel Friday night, we'll have to meet for breakfast in the hotel lobby after 7am, and get ready to leave around 8am. We are litterally only a few blocks from the parade assembly area, so we may be able to wait until 9am to leave. Those of you that are participating in the parade, and plan to arrive Hershey on Saturday morning, please meet us at the hotel BEFORE 8am!

4) Those of you that are not participating in the parade, may choose to watch the parade or spend the day exploring Hershey. I will have some discount coupons for Hershey Park.

5) I have planned to have a BBQ at the hotel Saturday evening. We should be able to get that started by 6pm. I will need everyone to chip in about $10 each to cover the cost of BBQ rental, food & beverages.

Fun71, Bcliff & Davette are in group 197. I see the rest of the C3VR's are all listed around the same basic time -- who is in what other group? With 262 groups -- it's going to be a long parade day for us! |rollysmile| |saluteflag| Pray for 75degrees & sunny!

Vette(s): 1979 L48 white Coupe. Not a show car but in great condition and what a ride!
I received the parade package today and see I am in element 189. By the looks of it I have a little studing to do. I too am looking forward to meeting everyone. It would be nice if we could get a video of the parade coverage for later viewing, any ideas? |wavey| |cheers|

It is being broadcast on TV there, STINGRAYBS said he would record it for us. Then I'll have to somehow get copies to everyone.

I am wondering if "unfavorable weather" (read "rain") is predicted for the 13th, how many C3ers are NOT going to Hershey? Just curious. Any input gang?

Thanks for the weather report Adam. I didn't know you were into meteorology. |laugh|

Are you planing on selling any merchandise next weekend at Hershey?
