If you are having trouble posting messages in the new forumware, it likely is a "cookie" issue.
If you have Firefox (version 3x), reset your cookies with these directions:
Go to the "Tools" menu at the top of Firefox browser window
Click "Options..."
Select the "Privacy" heading
In the "Cookies" section, make sure "Accept cookies from sites" is checked. if it is not, check it, then click the OK button.
If "Accept cookies from site" is already check, click the "Show Cookies..." button
In the "Cookies" window that appears, click inside the "Search" box and enter "c3vr" (all lower case, no quotes).
Click on the first VetteRegistry.net item on the list.
Hold down your shift-key on the keyboard and click the last item on the list. (At this point, all VetteRegistry.net items should be highlighted)
Click "Remove Cookies" button.
Click "Close" button
Click "OK" button
(NOTE: If you do this right, it will only delete C3VR cookies. You will have to re-login, and if you're used to being logged into C3VR automatically, make sure you check the box on the login page to do so.)
If this doesn't work, another thing you can try is clearing your Cache.
Go to the "Tools" menu at the top of Firefox browser window
Click "Options..."
Select the "Advanced" heading.
In the "Offline Storage" section, click "Clear Now"
Click OK
For Internet Explorer Version 7, do this to clear cookies:
Click the "Tools" menu item
Select "Internet Options"
On the "General" tab, in the "Browsing History" section, click the "Delete..." button.
Under the "Cookies" section click the "Delete Cookies..." button, then answer "Yes" to the question.
Click "Close"
Click "OK"
(NOTE: This will delete ALL cookies for ALL websites. You will have to re-login to C3VR, and if you're used to being logged into C3VR automatically, make sure you check the box on the login page to do so. Also any other site you had set to log in automatically.)
If that doesn't work, you can try clearing your Cache.
Click the "Tools" menu item
Select "Internet Options"
On the "General" tab, in the "Browsing History" section, click the "Delete..." button.
Under the "Temporary Internet Files" section, click the "Delete Files..." button, then answer "Yes" to the question.
Click "Close"
Click "OK.

Oh great...now I have to log in every time now...again....
You really should warn a feller about the side effects of doing stuff like that!

Ok, I modified the instructions to give that warning.
You can just check the box on the login page to log you in automatically again.

Thanky kindly, sir!
I shoulda known tho, as I clear cookies every now and again as part of my usual "House keeping" routine...then I have to try to remember all of my p-werds to all of the sites I go to...a daunting task, considering the 286 processor have in my head...

Please read the top post in this thread - a lot of folks are sending e-mails to the support e-box with the same problem. One e-mail received this evening had no return contact information so I was unable to reply to the sender.
