The thumbnail thing is really easy. Here's how (just change all of the ? to [ and the ! to ] ):

Keep in mind that if you are referencing an image in either your Personal File Folder or Personal Home Page spaces you do not need to include the "http://www.VetteRegistry.net" in the image URL. Just start with "/member_uploads/......." or "/member_pages/......."
