I asked Corvette America if C3VR members were entitled to a discount. Here is thier response:
I'm not sure how this makes sense, so I will ask for a more detailed explanation and post it here.
| Although we do offer a discount program for Corvette clubs who inquire, your membership is simply too large. In the past we tried this with a group even larger than yours, and we have found it to be too difficult to control. If we develop the capabilities to handle this size group in the future, I will let you know. |

That is curious!
You'd think that they would jump at the chance to work with a "large group".

Just tell them about all of the other vendors that already give the members a discount and they will come around.

Sounds like they aren't big enough to handle all the big clubs in the world!

Does that mean they are too cheap to make that many discounts?

Ok, I omitted my harsh comment.
I just get annoyed easily by "big business" that can't for some reason or won't help out the little guy that supports them in the first place.
From now on I give up worrying discounts, coupons or whatever.

I just got a very detailed explaination of why they are not able to offer a discount to large groups. I can understand where they are coming from.
I also know there are many vendors that don't offer discounts to anyone, period.
So just because Corvette America can't offer C3VR members a discount does not mean you should shy away from using them and especially doesn't mean you should bad-mouth them. The fact is, they are still a great supplier of quality Corvette Parts & Accessories. They are also helping to support C3VR. Their support helps allow you to use VetteRegistry.net.
You can always make a choice to try another sponsor that does offer a discount, like Bair's. Then compare prices. Perhaps Corvette America will have a better price on something compared to Bair's discounted price. You'll have to research it to find out.
Please continue to support C3VR's sponsors.
Thank you.
