To compliment the coming "Online Magazine", the following changes will take place June 1, 2007:

  • Standard Members will have access to Shark Bytes, online only, no postal mail option. (This is a new benefit for this level!)
  • Gold & Lifetime Members will have access to Shark Bytes Online and/or via Postal Mail. (No change from current benefits)
  • Gold & Lifetime Members will have access to the new Online Magazine - A monthly online-only publication focused on C3 Corvettes. Contributors to the magazine will be the likes of C3VR members, automotive technicians and other professionals within the Corvette industry.

Also effective June 1, 2007, the membership rates will be as follows:

  • Standard Membership: USD$15/year (worldwide)
  • Gold Membership: USD$30/year (US), USD$35 (outside US)
  • Lifetime Membership: USD$299 (US), USD$349 (outside US)

If you currently have a Standard or Gold Membership, your rate will not increase until your next renewal date, after June 1. If you are one of the few people that still have an existing PayPal subscription, your rate will never increase unless your subscription is somehow canceled by you or PayPal.

It is my hope that this change to content and minor changes to fees will be positively received.

I've been pondering the rate increase for many months now, and with the addition of C3VR Magazine, I feel that the cost increase is justified and fair. This is the first rate increase since 2004. With changes to membership benefits at all levels there will be more content available to each level, so the value per dollar should be the same if not better!

I hope you will all stay with us as C3VR shifts into the next gear!

Thank you for your continued support of the best Resource on the Net for C3 Vettes!

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
I guess that $100 increase is my incentive (and all other non-lifers) to sign up for a lifetime membership before June 1st!

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

No prob here !   I do have a wee question which I have wondered occassionally... simply in regard to the different fees for members outside of the US... I'm sure there is a reason (electrons have to travel further ??) ! haha

Because of things that have to be mailed/shipped out of the country to Gold & Lifers...it costs more than to those inside the US.
