Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
I'm back from Carlisle 2004.
It was hot & fairly uneventful, but I got to meet a bunch of C3VR members for the first time.
Only 8 new members signed up (in person).
10 exisiting members upgraded or renewed their membership.
A lot of people took a flyer and said they'd check us out online. Hopefully they will, and hopefully they like what they see and join.
First, I'd like to thank Alan Gribble for helping me watch the tent while I got to take a break. Also I'd like to thank him for Upgrading his membership to Lifetime!
Second, I'd like to thank yellownredvette for helping watch the tent for me on all three days. He also recommended that I create a "Sign-In" sheet for members that dropped by the tent. He suggested it late Friday, so I only did it Saturday and Sunday.
On Friday, at the 1pm informal meeting, about 6 members stopped by. On Saturday, only a couple of members stopped by at 1pm. On Sunday, only me and yellownredvette were there.
Here is the sign-in list from Saturday:
Canuckvetter
ejd
jlb
patsy
Kenny
YLOROSE
yellownredvette
Francis23b
rljmorin
80?vette
dhrinda
Iron82
DAVID PANOWITZ
Sunday's very short list:
DocJD
It was really nice meeting all of you, and I thank you for stopping by and for your support!
If you stopped by Friday and you are not on the above list, please reply to this thread.
Here's a couple of pics of the tent:

COOL...!!! Hopefully there will be a run on memberships like there was after the magazine promos hit last fall!
I'll make it out there one of these years. I can only get to one 'many states away' event a year so I have to choose carefully. This year it is C3X so maybe next year...!!!

Adam,
It was great seeing you and the others there. Not bad weather except the humidity and the down pour.
Sorry for not making the Sunday 1pm gathering. I was in the Celeberty Choice Parade. I was number# 149 out of 150. The C-3 Grand Sport was last.
See everyone out and about at events and shows.

The wife and I was there Friday before noon, no sign-in sheet, just hot! You might put name tags on the guys working the tent, then you would know who you are talking to. Sure was some nice Vettes there. Hope to see you guys next year.
