C6VR Forum Software Upgrade

We are happy to announce that the C6 Vette Registry forum software has been upgraded!

The new version is prettier, faster and has more functionality.  Some of the new features include:

• Standard tags. Use the tags you are familiar with on most forum sites.
  
• Image uploads. You can now upload an image directly into a post, and it will be stored in your Personal File Folder.
• Enhanced Signatures. Your signature will now automatically update in all your posts when you change it in your profile.
• Calendar. There is a calendar where you can enter and keep up to date on upcoming events.
• Top posters list. Wonder how your activity compares to others? You can now find out with the "Top Posters List" under the "Forums" menu.
• WYSIWYG Editor.  Entering a post is now like using a word processor - What You See Is What You Get - with formatting controls including color, bullets, numbering and more!
• Email members. Email members right from their posts!
• Topic preview. Hover your mouse over a Topic Title and see the beginning of the post without having to click it.
• Improved Search. Find what you are looking for quickly with many search options.

We suspect you will like the new forum software. As it has just been upgraded, please note that you mind come across some issues.  If you do, please make sure to contact us immediately so we can take care of it.

We'd also love to hear your feedback about the new software.  Please reply to this thread to both test the new software and let us know what you think!

Please note, due to the conversion, signatures were not carried over from the old software. If you want to create a new signature, please go to your Forum Profile.  You can still see your old signature code in your C6VR Profile, where you can copy it and paste it into the Forum Profile, but you'll have to change and codes from | to the correct [ or ].

I don't spend as much time on here as I should but I really like the site.

I have only been a member for a few days, so I am probably not going to notice too much of the old style but I am looking forward to a good long membership.
