You didn't read that right, or I didn't explain it right...
it is not 1 point per post. It is 10 points for 100 posts. You'll need 10,000 posts for a Lifetime Membership.
And no, I don't like the idea of the extra work, but I don't think it will be too bad. I just want to give you guys (and perspective members) more reasons to love C3VR!

Opps, I read it wrong and got too excited too fast. Sorry

You be quite, youse!
I don't know about this one...while it appears a genuine appeal to the membership to participate more, it just seems to me like it might be a bit much work to keep up with it. That being said, I really don't have any tech skills when it comes to 'puter stuff, or coding/language, etc., so I don't know how much extra you would have to do, Adam.
I do agree that the New Member welcomes really shouldn't be considered if this idea goes thru...and possibly the "Anything Goes" forum. Just my opinion on it.

OK, here I go opening my mouth and getting myself in trouble. I think it's goofy and will be a lot of work to maintain. I'm not going to post any more trying to get a "prize". I post as often as I can, but to subjects that I can add to or entertain with. Several new members from the last year seem to have faded away and I miss some of them simply cause I was able to help or converse with them. I want to post more, but I need the subject matter to do that. I don't think "filler" posts are necessary, and that's what we may end up wading through! I'm on dial-up and read every post as it's updated and it's really annoying waiting on the thread to come up and the new post is just a
.
Flame away!
