Sorry to say, I'll be invoking rule #5 after this month ends:

We deserve the right to change/cancel this contest at any time.  One reason would be that the same 10 people are always in the top 10 each month.  The idea for this contest is to get more and new people to post other than those who already do.

This has not spurred the posting frenzy I was hoping it would. :( 

I will still be awarding the prizes for February, though!

It is strange as I see folks joining almost every day but most of the members just sit on their hands and don't post.

I do enjoy conversing with the few that are actually doing something with their cars.

Hello, I am fairly confident that those who are involved are not doing it for the reward. It's a case of helping fellow enthusiasts to enjoy, repair, diagnose a symptom, and results for a problem. Not sure if FB meets any of these needs, as I am not on it. 

I agree. I thought it would entice new members (or old ones) that haven't been posting to do so. 

Yup! Something I've been trying to figure out for years! We get new sign-ups daily. Yet so few of them post. I can't understand what is keeping them from doing so. Or would what get them to do it.

I can't pretend to have been on of the most prolific posters, but I decided to make an effort after Adam's initiation of the contest, simply because he was making an effort to get people involved.  I never actually expected to be among the top posters, so the recent award of a gift voucher was very exciting!

Unfortunately, at this time of year there isn't so much to say - the car is tucked up in the garage much of the time alas!

Maybe it's time to find some photos of what we did in the summer.........😄

I feel for ya.  Here in Texas we are having unseasonably warm and dry weather.  I'll be driving mine this Saturday.

Ha Ha, The weather in  N.E. Pa will not allow the Rochester to burn any good octane.
