Willie aside, I voted stainless. Years ago before the dawn of cupholders
most autoparts places sold a holder that hung on the door. I wonder if
any of these are still around.

I usually don't have any drinks in my vette just for simple reason
there is no place to set it when you are not drinking it. I voted for
the stainless one. It would be a good one to have at work.

I bought one of those litle cup holders that fit over the brake handle... STAINLESS would look real good in it!

Yea, I was thing of getting one of those brake cup holders too...pricey,
but my willie is woth it. Also, I vote Stainless, though I would also like to
see a ceramic "traditional" coffe mug for the home/ weekend slurper as
well.

I got one of those cup holders too, and it works pretty good. Only problem I have is it's a bit too tight on the brake lever so I will have to modify it. It's too hard to get on & off. Of course you don't want it sliding around either. Also with a 4 spd, it is a bit in the way of shifting. I use it mainly on the long run and it works great.

the stainless steel for sure, if my coffee gets cold I can always put the cup on the side pipes to warm it back up

Stainless, as due to the heat coming through the firewall, the plastic
would probably melt. If I could keep the temperature constant, I
could probably bake cakes as well.

I agree with Adams' Apple, I ain't got no stinking cup holders, but I sure do drink a lot of "Beverages" in the garage! Think the stainless will keep stuff cold too!
