I spoke with the NCM and it looks like the first C3VR Event at the NCM will be September 23 to 25 in 2004!!
There is just too much already going on there in 2003 with the Anniversary and such.
I'll certainly keep you posted, but in the meantime, please respond to this survey!
PLEASE respond, even if your answer is "Nope"
Thanks!
** UPDATE - 1/14/2003 **
I have blocked 20 Rooms at the Country Hearth Inn (which is right across the street from the NCM) for 3 nights during this event. Prices are only $54-$64 per night!
I'm sure these rooms will go fast, so please reply to this message if you want a room there, and I will email you the deatils.

Adam,
Be aware that in 2004, the MidAmerica Funfest will be held the prior weekend 9/18-19. You might want to steer away from this as it is a huge draw of Corvettes in the Midwest and Midsouth (Ky, Tn, In, Il, Mo, etc.). You can check out this link for more info.

Anyone have any ideas about hotel accomadations? I have a feeling there is going to be no room in the Inn!

Not really. We are at the mercy of the NCM event schedule.
Also, I have a question for you all...
If the event runs Thursday - Saturday, what would you like to arrive? Wednesday evening or Thursday?
I'm trying to figure out what days to nail down the rooms for.
Thanks!

I know it's probably still very early for a schedule of events, but that would have an influence on my travel plans some. If there was a full slate on Thursday I'd plan on arriving Wednesday evening (drive south Tue/Wed). And depending what was on the schedule for Saturday would determine whether to start driving north on Sat PM/Sun or Sun/Mon. So that would have a bearing on needing a room for 3 or 4 nights, for me anyway.
From what I've seen on other NCM events plant tours are usually scheduled for Wed-Fri during working hours. Don't know if they're offered other days of the week. But I'd rather go through it when there is some production going on than when it was shutdown.

That is exactly why the event will start on Thursday, so that there will be two days (Thursday & Friday) for plant tours.
