|QUOTE|Kid Carly said: I sure hope you mean Corvettes at Carlisle 2002 and not 2003!!!! Of course, the show is pretty packed so it could be... say it isn't so though! Can't wait to see the booth and get a free Pepsi! Thanks for all your work, Adam, you are AWESOME!

Yes, I mean 2002.
And who said anything about "Pepsi"?!?! I hate Pepsi!

Raffle tickets, raffle tickets, come get your raffle tickets. Win a new or used Corvette. It all sounds like fun but one thing we all have to keep in mind ... almost every raffle you see for a Corvette also uses a substantial portion ( if not all ) of the profits to help in fighting a debilitating desease. So, it really does not matter who you buy a ticket from or for what year Vette, remember you are helping people who need your help. GOOD LUCK to all of you who buy a raffle ticket from any Corvette Club or organization !

Hey Glenn, I would love to buy a ticket from everyone, in fact I usually do. I also buy Harley tickets. As you say most are for a good cause. The only trouble is, that I have to not buy extra pieces for the Vette with all the tickets that I buy.

Easy fix for tehmoney problems. You have kids in the neighborhood or maybe some older chaps who are in their second childhood? Well, for $5.00 a ride ( a quick ride ) in a nice Vette like yours, well in no time flat you could probably just go out and buy a new Vette ( or any used one you may desire ) and not worry about your chances of winning a raffle.

Glenn, I like your thinking. Too bad I live out in the country. Maybe I'll go into the city on weekends to raise funds. What format do you use for your sign? What do you charge per ride and how long is a short ride? remember I live in the country.

My sign says, "If you get in, you won't have any money when you get out". The ride distance....easy, how long is your driveway? They of course have to push start you to the end of the driveway and then you drive them back up. So far I have made, well, I can't tell you that cause the IRS may be listening in.

Adam, I'll be at Carlisle! :) Looking forward to the gold card. :) Is it possible for me to leave a display frame w/ business cards for the '70 Registry *when* you get your vendor space? :) I'll have my '87 in Chip Miller's Evolution display, and I'll be tooling around in my '70 for the weekend.

Hey Adam, I officially marked my calendar for Corvettes at Carlisle. Unless something else comes up, I will be there. I need to start giving rides now. So, Glenn charges $5.00 per ride. hmmm. I have a long driveway about 300 ft. circular. Why would you have them push you down the driveway other than to save gas? Opps I guess I answered my own question. Glenn I still think you ought to talk Adam into an advise for raising money column with you as the advisor.

Can we pick a time & day to actually get together to meet each other in person?

Juliet,
As far as meeting me... I'd say it's a safe bet I'll be at the C3VR Vendor Space most of the time.
Speaking of which, I'll probably have to round up some volunteers to help me during the 3 days!
