I can't say for sure, but I thought I read somewhere that there would be no notification. Probably too time consuming. No matter for me. I buy one every year anyway. Though this was the 1st year I've submitted a pic, if I don't make it this year I'll keep trying

From the top of the thread:
If your submission IS selected, you may not be notified directly. You will have to check the page that is created for ordering the calendar once it has been completed.
