NCM is the most logical place to hold the meeting and I agree it should be the same time, same place, BUT EARLIER in the year. August or early September

Let's keep it at the NCM for next year, same time. Hopefully the member turnout will increase. (I plan to attend next year). And Bob, I would like to see regional meetings as well. The Hershey get together last year was a great time. Nothing wrong with informal regional meetings to get together and shoot the breeze. Nice way to meet other members, share info and experiences, and a few brewskis.

I think it should be the same place if earlier in the year and somewhere else if the same time of year.

Vette(s): 1973 Stingray Coupe and C5 and C6 Coupes.
Hmmm, anyone wanna bet that it will be at the NCM next year.
Note: I know it is too early for the NCM to claim victory, but the distance between NCM and not-NCM is rapidly increasing.

We agree that we had a good time at the NCM. However, we are more the adventurous type and would like to drive somewhere else. This was our second consecutive visit to Bowling Green and we would most likely not attend if held there again next year. There are many beautiful things to see and experience in other areas.
If anytime you are interested in touring Missouri, just let us know. We have great areas to drive vettes.
Example, "Great River Road Tour". This area of Senic Hwy 100 has the Mississippi directly off the road to your left and the high river bluffs on your right. Then crossing over a small time ferry onto two lane black top through the country side. Many choices of restaurants. And then crossing yet another small time ferry into St. Charles and looping back to base!
Also, could be the Augusta Wine Tour. Leaving Historic St. Charles and traveling 2 lane black top to Augusta. a small town founded by German immigrants located on the Missouri river bluffs. (Great wine too) Offers tours, free tasting and sometime live bands play on the terrace.
Main Street St. Charles is a very popular tourist site and is worth a day just wondering around the shops and restaurants.
We would be able to post pictures if anyone is interested.
Just an idea!!!
We've never been to "Hershey Pennsylvania" either! It's on our "to do" list!!

Just so there is no miss understanding, C3 Extravaganza is already scheduled for Oct. 13-15, 2005 at the NCM. So you are voting to hold the annual C3VR meeting either same place and same time next year that we had this year, or not.

I voted to have the C3VR Annual Meeting along with the C3 Extravaganza at the NCM next year, as well. Hey, I presently live in Bowling Green, KY, so it's not a long trip for me! Next year I plan not to have a lot of visitors during the C3X, so that I can attend ALL of the gatherings.
However, like Silver69 says "the touring roads in his area of Missouri are GREAAAAAATTTT for road rallys, especially in a VETTE!
I use to live about 6 miles from Silver69 and the country there is beautiful in the August/September period. I may just email Silver69 and try to set up something anyway! As he's said, "the wine in excellent in Augusta, MO and during August they have outdoor bands for entertainment. Hey, the German beer is great, too!
Charlie, maybe you and I can get some movement for a "regional" meeting/tour in the St. Charles, MO area.
On another note - I GREATLY appreciate everyone who voted for my 80 Silver vette at the C3X that got her the award of "NCM's Choice Car Show Winner"! Again, THANK YOU, EVERYONE THAT VOTED!

I like the idea of reginal meetings and a national meeting at C3x each year. Could not make it this year but would like to plan for next. I am glad to see every one had a great time.
