Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
Thanks to vettedreams79 (Mark), we will be putting together a C3VR Calendar for 2004. It will be a 12 Month Calendar featuring C3VR Members' C3s!
We need your photos! Please send an email to calendar@VetteRegistry.net and include ONE photo or URL pointing to a photo of your C3 that you would like to have featured in the calendar.
Submission deadline is 7/31/2003!
Rules for submission:
1. Only send ONE photo. Pick your favorite and send it.
2. In the body of your email, specify the following specs:
--* Year
--* Exterior Color
--* Engine Type (eg. L48) or Size (eg. 350/174hp)
--* Any special type (eg. Collector's Edition, Silver Anniversary, etc)
3. In the body of your email, specify if you want your name associated with the picture if it is used. You may specify one of the following:
--* Do not use my name
--* Use My C3VR Member name and My Real First Name
--* Use My C3VR Member name and My Real First & Last Name
All submissions will be reviewed and judged on the following criteria:
1. Quality - The image file must be of a substantial quality in regards to DPI (eg. 300) and Resolution (eg. 1760x1168). The higher these numbers are, the better it will look when printed, especially on a calendar. You'll probably need a 2.1 megapixel camera or better, set at the highest quality setting possible.
2. Artfulness - The image should be tasteful and free of anything that would destract from the Vette. For example, no people, no other cars, no business signs. Examples of good backgrounds are: open fields, a park, a tree-lined 2-lane road, your driveway (provided the background is not cluttered with junk), etc.
3. Framing - Framed so that the entire Vette is in the picture. It can be taken from any angle except straight on of the rear.
4. Scenery - The prettier the background, the better. Plus, keep in mind that we'd like to have season appropriate photos. For example, a background of trees turning color in the fall; trees and flowers blooming in the spring; snow covered roadway in the winter, etc.
The more of these criteria that you meet, the more likely your photo will be used.
If you have any questions, please email adam@VetteRegistry.net.
Send your submission to calendar@VetteRegistry.net.
Submission deadline is 7/31/2003!

Mark/Adam,
Just curious how many photos are on file for the calendar. The photo of "The Toy" I like the best may not meet the technical requirements (the digital camera I borrowed wasn't the best). Please take a peek at it by clicking on the image below and let me know. I can try to recreate it if need be using a different camera my neighbor has.
Thanks!
