Great to have you on board for the long haul Rodney. It's comforting to know that someone will always be around.

To all the (now) fellow lifers, thanks for the vote of confidence of believing I will fit in! I just looked tonight and I have now owned my 74 vette for a little over 5 years. The reason I ended up buying it was because of the warm greetings and advice I got when I joined this group as a trial member. Had it not been for that I probably wouldnt have taken that 1029.6 mile trip from Pa to Ohio and back, in a borrowed truck and trailer that took 22 1/2 hours non stop and a great neighbor to ride and help with the drive. We averaged 9.51 MPG in that rig and I spent $232.95 on gas and $67.60 on tolls. 108.27 gallons of gas which was when gas was only $2.10 per gallon. I actually laminated all receipts from that trip. Well, here we are just over 5 years into my time with this group and I now have 2 vettes. The second, a 72 convertible has been an ongoing work in process and hopefully things will be completed by the spring. Its funny how I kept every receipt in doing the 74 but the 72 I stopped keeping receipts because of the dollar figure that car has taken from me! If the wife only knew what this C3VR group has cost me she would probably hunt each and everyone of you guys down and who knows how mad she would be! The good news is Ive enjoyed every minute in this group! Most of you I will probably never meet in person but I thought becoming a life member would help show the respect that I have for all the members here. To all of you thanks for all the help and information you have passed my way in the past 5 years.
Now for EBO, I think when I met you for the first time at Carlisle I had envisioned you with that turkey on your head long before that picture was posted! Not sure why I even stayed after that day! Oh, dont forget the post for the interior, i'm there ready and waiting now. (lol)

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

Congrats for jumping in to the LIFER's pond Rod!!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
