Corvette Funfest 2005

Who's going to Mid America Motorworks' Corvette Funfest this year?

I'll be manning a C3VR/C6VR booth there.

Any interest in getting together for dinner on Friday night 9/16?

Adam, I'll be there. Should be arriving around noon or before on Saturday. I'll be sure to stop by your booth!

 

 Hi Adam, We plan on being there but not sure when. Anyone know of a motel near there that has rooms? Look forward to seeing everyone.

Mike, there isn't any. I got a room in Champaign which is about 70 miles north, but it's on the way home. You might do okay in Terra Haute, also on the way home for you. I'm planning on leaving early Saturday, spend the day and stay for the Beach Boys concert, then head to Champaign. I won't go back on Sunday, not much activity there on Sunday anyways, most people are there on Saturday only.

[/QUOTE]We are getting in Friday around 4PM & plan on staying till Sunday around 1.  As far as finding a room, I suggest checking in with the major hotel chains for last min. cancellations.

Hi Adam, This is Big Daddy and yes I along with my wife Nancy will be arriving on Friday 9/16 before noon in our 93 Supercharged Polo Green Cpe. As you know I belong to another Corvette Club in Indiana, South Central Indiana C.C. and a number of them will be joining us both on Friday and Saturday along with my wife's cousin and his wife from Nebraska. I will stop by the booth on Friday and visit with you.  I cannot really commit to dinner Friday night at this time since I will be with so many folks from out of town who do not belong to our registry.

My wife and several of our vette friends will be making our yearly trek. We will be staying at the Comfort Inn. Niemerg's Steak House is next door and has excellant dining and a bar. Comfort Inn is nice, clean, has a pool, and provides breakfast bar. They cater to the Corvette Clan with towels & water for those who want to clean up their cars. At night the parking lot is like a family reunion and a great place to check out some of the other rides. We will arrive on Thursday of Friday and make our way bak on Sunday. See you there!!!  

A group of the C3 Sharks are planning a day trip on Saturday. I will stop by the booth a say Hey.

I went last year for the 1st time and came home with a Judges Choice Award. Very COOL
