You haven't heard from DaveM because he's not home yet.
I talked to him today (7/4/07). He is still at his brother's in Nevada. He had the intake gasket replaced, but the Vette still isn't running right. They checked everything and can't find anything wrong.
He plans to head back to NJ tomorrow.
I believe he still plans to take I-15 north to I-70 and head east.
If anyone is on his route, watch for a black 1982.
I told him there are many C3VR members along to way that will help him if needed.
Send me a PM if you want to give Dave a call.
And keep your fingers crossed for him.

DaveM just called me from Indiana.
His car was running better today.
He hopes to be home tomorrow so he can go to work on Monday.
I'm sure he will have some stories to tell us when the dust settles.
