seems we would need and Enhanced Drivers License (not yet available to Californians) or a Passport.  My Passport is expired.

So won't be coming.  Although I have always wanted to visit Saskatoon.  No Really.  I would like to see wild flat-tailed rodents and their dams and houses.

:-)

Jim,
As mentioned above, you have plenty of time to get your passport renewed. Just get started ASAP.

Hi All, I'm going to Bowling Green KY for the Corvette Caravan tour. Are any of you C3vr's planning on attending ? That is the reason I won't make this gathering. Have fun.

Hey Steve -

If you haven't done a NCC before you WILL have a LOT of fun.  When you're in the middle of the caravan and see nothing but Corvettes in front of you and behind you for as far as you can see it is quite a feeling.  Been on two of them (2003 & 2009) and had a BLAST...!!!

Sorry to miss seeing you at The Gathering this year.

Ok Western Region folks (Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming) - it is time to step it up...!!!

Haven't seen much participation from members in the Western Region at gatherings that haven't been in our* backyard (Carson City - 2007, Bend - 2010, Seattle/Tacoma - 2016).  And NOBODY west of the Rockies made it to Colorado (Manitou Springs - 2013).  Without doing some actual counting I'm going guess that folks from the other regions of the country probably out numbered Western Region folks at all 4 of those gatherings.  WHAT'S UP WITH THAT...???  The main reason for doing the rotating regions of the country was so that folks would have the opportunity to get to a Gathering that was closer to them.

So here's the challenge - let's see if we* Western Region folks can match at least half the number of folks coming from the other regions.  We won't get the chance to host another gathering until 2022 so come on - MAKE THE TREK...!!!  (San Diego, Phoenix and Albuquerque are closer to Saskatoon than central Georgia for crying out loud!  Don't believe me - check it out on Google Maps.)

* since moving to Colorado I am now "officially" a member of the Western Region so I can issue this challenge

Come on Western Region Folks - let's hear some POSITIVE responses.  TIC TOC...!!!
