As mentioned previously, I have selected three Middle US cities as
possible locations for the 2008 C3VR Member Gathering. They were selected from the thread that brought suggestions from members. There was a lot of talk about Branson, however I chose not to include it based on the comments about traffic, and considering Pigeon Forge was a similar traffic issue, I don't want us to repeat that problem.
The gathering will be the first or second weekend of May 2008. It will depend on the city selected and what, if any, other things are going on at those times.
Here they are:
Click a city name ABOVE to see their visitor's bureau website.
IMPORTANT!
READ THIS BEFORE CLICKING ANYTHING BELOW!!
The below links will cast your vote for the location of the 2008 C3VR Member Gathering. Once you click the city of your choice you will NOT be able to change your vote. If you truely make a mistake, you can email me and I can fix it for you.
Please only cast a vote if you plan to attend the gathering in the city of your choice. You are picking your FAVORITE. Even if you like all three, pick your number one selection.
Click the city of your Choice to cast your vote:
Click here to see the current results of the survey.
Voting will close on 10/31/2007!
Once a location has been determined, a date will be selected.
If you know anything about any of these cities and would like to comment on what there is to do there, and why we should pick it... please reply to this thread.
Thanks!

I have to say, I'm surprised that Dallas has taken the early lead. You didn't vote more than once, did you Joel?
I'm kidding. I know you didn't. Everyone only gets one vote.
I like the Users Online count tonight! 30+! That's rare! Guess everyone was excited to learn about/vote for the 2008 location.

Joel,
I hope you did NOT vote for Dallas.
You really need to get away for a break.

So Branson is about halfway between KC (is that Kansas or Missouri?) and HS. If either of those win, we can go to Branson after the Gathering.
