I'm no statistics major, but I'd say we're going to Reno/Tahoe.

I was (no fun) and I would have to concur with that statement.

well, I did take stats 25 years ago .... but maybe things have changed.... we have 664 standard/gold/lifetime members, and we currently have 46 votes .... thats only 6.9% with two weeks left to vote

Even if only 25% of the people vote, 46 is still only 27.7%

Yes, we may be going to Reno, but it is not a statistical given....

Just my 0.02% worth

Based on previous history, we will get about 100 people or less than 75 members. Unless the SD and SLC folks are hiding in the bushes, waiting for the last day, I would say Reno / Tahoe is the odds on fav.

But you are correct, mathmatically, any of the three could still win.

Even if you voted for one of the non-winners, I hope everyone who voted will attend, no matter where or when or how you get there.

It will be a blast, no matter what.

Vette(s): 1973 coupe. LS4, M-21, DARK SADDLE LEATHER, POWER STEERING, POWER BRAKES, POWER WINDOWS, A/C, AM/FM STEREO, YELLOW ( 952 ).

It looks to me like Reno/Tahoe is probably going to win. That won't hurt my wifes feelings. She's never seen a Black Jack table she didn't like..............till a few hundred dollars later anyway. I personally have been to both more than once and there are a lot of upsides. Besides, Ive never had my boat on Lake Tahoe and have always wanted too. I wonder if there will be a bowling tourney going in Reno. That would be good....

All the cities are good , but I think Reno- Tahoe will be my pick, San Diego is a little to close to the Mexican border, you can never tell but an ellegal val-a might want to park your vette in the south parking lot, you'll never find it again, a friend of mine went on a rod run to Utah, it got so hot that when he came down from the room and walked to the car he found that his damn tires had melted, as far as Reno-Tahoe the cars might run a little sluggish, but think of the bright side, show girls, black jack, slot machines, Moonlight and Mustang Ranch's

Just to help sway the poll a different direction I voted for Utah. Besides you can see the mountains from the hot tub... And I think those mountains would make a beautiful backdrop for some mighty fine cars!!!

Hey X - I can see your point. It doesn't really matter where we go. I don't mind puttin the "baby" in a box to go show her off. Some of us around are already plannin on a caravan and things we're going to do along the way. Most of us are planning a two week trip because of the things along the way. It's really the destination - it's the trip getting there that's got us fired up. Some of the area C3'ers got together the night before leaving to go to Mack Bridge weekend and the discussion centered around the trip, not the destination. I'd like to talk to Hank and Kim and see what they're up to and if they wouldn't mind going in with us, of course we've already planned on joinin up with you, even if you do have a newer Vette. Lets keep the voting going and pick a place. I'm getting really excited. Are we there yet?

Jim

Hey Al, you are still with the living... (kidding). Haven't heard from you in awhile. My vote went to Utah, one look at the mountains was all it took. When your a country boy it works like this... Mountains-YES Skyscrapers-NO.
When time gets closer we can start the migratory plan. In the meantime we might have to settle for meeting halfway somewhere for lunch / dinner one day.
