The 2019 C3VR Member Gathering, our 17th annual, for the first time will be located in Canada! Specifically, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan thanks to the offer to host by C3VR Member: cinor (Cindy) and her daughter Sara.

They have selected 4 weekends that will work for them and make for a good time to visit. All event dates are Thursday through Saturday.

Please only vote if you expect to attend if the dates you vote for are selected.

Please cast your vote no later than 11/18/2018.

So far fewer folks have selected their preference for a date for The Gathering than indicated they would attend.  Help out those folks who need a lot of lead time for submitting their vacation time requests by selecting your preference for a date as soon as you can.

Having done the Black Hills event this same way a few years ago, I will warn you, if you live east of the Dakotas and plan to do the Classic after the C3VR gathering, you are driving west to Saskatoon, then back east across South Dakota, then west across South Dakotawith the caravan for the classic, then back east to get back home. It’s not a small state (400+ miles). Not saying it can’t be done, but you are covering some ground. Not trying to be negative, just want you to be prepared. You may want to consider a route to Canada other than via South Dakota and/or maybe a different one back as well. Candi is from Rapid City, SD so we have travelled the state back and forth many times.

We plan on doing the gathering even if it is the same dates as Bloomington. Only letting folks know if that matters to them in choosing dates

The post still says voting goes through next month, but I believe it’s going to close mid-November to allow for better planning for everyone. If you’re planning on going and haven’t voted, you may want to take a look. It’s a close race now!

It is approximately 11:15 MST and while "the polls" haven't officially closed yet the vote total hasn't changed in several days.  I'm going out on a limb and predict that July 18-20 is the "unofficial" winner.  MARK YOUR CALENDARS...!!!
