Given that I will receive my reply here:

During this time period (weeks before, during & after) is the Vette Registry event a Route 66 cruise and the Michelin NCM BASH. We plan on going on the Route 66 run for sure as it has been in the making for some time prior to the gathering announcement and I have some responsibilities at the NCM BASH with Simply Corvettes that I need to fulfill.

Most importantly as someone who works with hotels to set up bookings for events I understand how it is important to provide them with reservations within a block and time period that they can rely on.

That being said I have not yet given thought to the hotel stay. Honestly I am more inclined to stay at an Air B&B as I find them to be more to my liking these days. So, if we attend it would doubtful we stay at the hotel but we would come there to hang out with folks and participate in any itinerary functions that take place at the hotel.

That's really strange that you got that error message! You're a lifetime member so you shouldn't be blocked from anything. I just tried to recreate the issue and could not. If you're able to recreate it and tell me the exact steps (clicks) you took to get to that message I'd appreciate it so I can try to figure out why and fix it - to make sure it doesn't happen to others.
