Hello

|UPDATED|10/13/2025 9:51:12 AM (AZT)|/UPDATED|
I just joined this group and live in Williamsburg.
I received a note from our local club - Colonial Corvette Club - about this group.
I've been on the Corvette Forum for 10 years and a founding member of the C8 Forum.
My dad was a 50 year employee ( one of one we believe) of Chevrolet so corvettes are in my blood.
Was wondering if all the events here are focused on the car or if anyone is interested in golf?
There are a number of good options and I might be able to arrange something.

Hi, Mike! Welcome to Vette Registry.
The agenda has not been fixed yet. Planning is still underway.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on what we have so far, and maybe we can work a golf option in for those that are interested. Send me a PM and we'll talk!

Hi!

I've seen your C8 around town and at the C&C. It stands out because the boomerangs are body color painted which I love.
I have/had the '04 ZO6 LeMans car, but its heading to a buyer in Maryland next week. I brought it back to life and it gained a NCRS Top Flight award with 99.7 points. Time for a new project and I've found a partially restored '71 Ontario Orange convertible in NJ and heading there on Wednesday to bring it back home. I love the 'process' but once done it's time for a new project.
Golf? Yes. I'm in Kingsmill and an avid player. Email me at bobweber@cox.net.
I've responded to Adam here on the registry with suggestions for the '26 get together here in W'burg.
Cheers!
Bob

I have seen your vette as well. I went to the car show at Kingsmill last month. When I drove up the guys ran to me and asked if I wanted to "show" the car. I was surprised there wasnt a C8. But it was late in the day and I wasn't prepared.
See you on the road. Cheers

not sure yet. Hopefully in the next month or so, but maybe even longer. It's a big group this year!

Good opportunity for the new Free members that are local to help out.

I've already been in contact with a few that have given me tips and advice.

Why assume new local members did not pay? I’m a paid new local member.
