Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
I just got into the hotel. There was a message for me at the desk from haftacmp1 (Gregory). He said his Vette broke down in CA and isn't sure when he'll get here.
He left no phone number and I don't have one for him on record. If anyone has his cell phone, please send a PM to me and/or call him and tell him to call the hotel and leave his cell phone number for me.
Looks like we have our first break-down story.

Adam, Sorry to hear about Gregory's misfortune and hope he gets there for the meeting. I just wanted to say that those of us who are unable to attend will be thinking of you guys and wishing you all a wonderful time and safe journey to and from. Drive safe and enjoy the fellowship.

Just heard that someone in the NW caravan also had trouble, I think with overheating.
I guess that is the risk we all take driving our Vettes hundreds of miles. Or even 5 miles for that matter!

Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.
I guess he should be thankful that he had problems before he got out of his home state. I checked his profile and today is his birthday. I'll bet this is one he will never forget.

Sorry to hear about the troubles of each. Think positive and all will come out great.
I believe that one gathering year there will be no one having troubles with their vettes.

So...did anyone ever here from Gregg? Now ya'll got me worried...
Mike, the only time the Gathering will take place with no Shark troubles will be the one when no-one drives their Shark to the Gathering!
It just wouldn't be a real trip without some kind of mechanical failure!

I'm just very glad we made it to CC. I hope everything turns out OK for Gregory!!!
