I ended up blowing 4 bucks and buying the R & T mag... good article... now I GOTTA make the cruise.... I can't believe I have lived in TN for 36 years and haven't driven it.....

No Barbara will NOT drive any of my Corvettes...(she thinks they change lanes to fast).. prefers her Mini Van... (what can I say?)

Heck No.... I was NOT sweating the bikers....Last time I was in a Biker Bar was Tuesday...LOL   cool bunch of guys and gals... Honest !

What I am slightly worried about are Kids in Rice Roclets who invested in Amplifiers for their cars rather then brake pads...

After reading the "Road & Track" article, we might consider breaking the "Tail" cruise into 4 groups....

An 8/10ths group of true road racers will blast off first to clear the road of oncoming crotch-rockets..

then a 6/10ths group chasing them...

then a 4/10ths group who want to experience a few mild G forces....

bringing up the rear would be a 2/10ths group of featherfooted sightseeing geezers...

I'd likely be at the head of the 6/10ths group, while my wife would bring up the rear of the 2/10ths group profiling in her little red C4 vert listening to the horns blowing behind her...

Vette(s): 1968 convertible 427/390 British Green w/saddle interior and soft top.4 spd no air. It has just been mechanically restored from the tires up, and I'm working on the cosmetics.
My wife and I will twist and turn tha Dragon with you guys!!
