My wife read my copy of this months CAR and DRIVER ..which had an
article on the Tail of the Dragon....
SHE IS CONCERNED...actually so am I ....after reading the article she is not at all happy about the on comming traffic...more specifically speeding cars comming the other way around curves etc...
All I need is a kid running his rice rocket a little too fast commng right at me...
Interesting article however...

The Gist of the article is that is is a GREAT road to drive...BUT its narrow
in some places and some of the turns are not only sharp BUT very sharp... (not a problem here)
They do mention it can be driven at 8/10's of all out....(no problem here either)... except when some kid is over his head at 5/10's and he is going in the opposite direction as me as I round a turn only to find him in y lane
with no hope of holding his line without staying there...
They did mention most of the locals get off the road before noon..when
groups like us drive it.... LOL...can not say I blame them for that...
Seems like a road I would love to drive (and I will) l Just that its cars going in the other direction too fast, etc that raised my eyebrows...
So I guss I'll do it at 3/10's.. lol

add annicorvette to the dragon cruis, if all Hell lets up here. since katrina the wife wrecked the vette and totaled her T-bird. I have the t-bird is about 70 % rebuilt and I still want to change the tranny in the vette before PF.
