Vette(s): 1981 red with silver interior,350(L-81), 350TH, glass t-tops, aluminium rims, 1980 Black/ Black int., 350 GM crate engine/350TH, 1976 black/ saddle int., L-82 w/headers, holly carb, Hypertech ignition

My sugestions would be.....Monterey ,  Ca. ....Lots to do and see, or.....

San luis obispo  Ca.   .... real nice area on the central coast of Califonia,  ( between Monterey  and Santa Barbara on pacific coast hyw.) Great weather all year round,  not crowed like the cities ( I think population is around 35k),  lots to see and do, lots of affordable lodging ,  great "top down "  driving area in all directions,   good sellecion of restruants (seafood, steaks, etc. ),

I know I am new here but, how about the NC mountains. It is some of the most beautiful country side you will ever see and the roads,,,,,,,,,, are to die for. The Blue Ridge parkway is a great road for our cars. Maybe the Asheville NC area.
Just another idea.

Rick, so the gathering goes to the west coast for 2010, then the mid states, 2011, and then in 2012 back on the east side. Keep that thought, that is one fun area!

What the ebo said above - hold that thought for 2012.  Remember that all locations suggested for the 2010 gathering must be located in the West Region.
