Just did all the math for the trip out to the gathering.  Fun stuff that may only interest me but here it is:

total miles traveled -- 3859
gallons of gas -- 292.13
total gas cost -- $864
MPG (average) -- 13.287
highest price for gas (mid-range) -- $3.00/gal
lowest price for gas -- $2.60/gal

The 73 Coupe hung in there with no problems other than once we had to find gas out in eastern Colorado -- cut it too short and the gas station that used to be there was no more -- panic ensued, gps came to the rescue -- there was a town 20 miles out of the way with a station so tack on another hour to the trip.

fun -- lots of it -- gatherings are worth every penny spent -- great time.

Bob

finally arrived and rarin' to ride

Bet you got better gas mileage on the way back after you unloaded all those little bags of pot...uh, bags of a little pot...uh, guess I shouldn't have tried to smoke that...
Dave C..........My mantra: I can not be bought!!      Long and short term leases available.

Great gift, thanks! We could have put duct tape on your secondaries and seen if the MPG went up.
