Hi ! Just wanted to report the safe return from the gathering of Jimmy & Melissa B. We had planned on taking 2 days coming home but got home sick and came straight home. left Bend at 11:30 and got home by 10:30. HOME SWEET HOME. It's still here, and intact Big smile. Hope every one else who made the trip will let us know you got home safe. We'll get back later to share our elation with the gathering.

Glad to hear you had a safe journey home. Good seeing the 2 of you again. Julia and I had an uneventful drive back too.

Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
Dee-Dee and I also had no issues coming home.  sorry for the lack of reporting after the first day, just to dam wore out from all the fun, sun, and laughter.  It must have been a very remember-able time because after the first day I could remember every bodies name and who belonged to who.

can not say enough about the people on this site, what great friendly, giving, positive, uplifting group of strange people in the world, I truly mean that.  The kindness, the giving, the putting up with me, crap I could go on for ever on the type of people I met this last week.

Glad Melissa and you (and everyone else) made it home safely Clap  Karla and I also got home, exhausted, tired, and smiling Big smile  What a great time that was, everyone and everything was more then I expected, we had a blast.  I think Karla had a lot more fun then she ever expected.  Thanks everyone for such a great time Thumbs Up

Glad to hear all are getting back to the ranch.  We made it and did not talk to anymore smokies, just cruised into the home front.  Good to be back, but the gathering was very very good -- Kudos to Mike and Larry for putting together a fantastic time and to all we met (everyone there, amazingly enough).  You are all the best.  See you soon and remember if anyone comes through Colorado, give a call the door is always open.  C3VR is great.  Clap

finally arrived and rarin' to ride

Vette(s): 2004 Commemorative Edition Coupe, Auto w/HUD. 13K miles in 2015. Sold 1982 Red Coupe
I must have averaged 730 miles per day, but they seemed easy miles. When you are cruisin at 75 to 80 with light traffic, the miles just pile up.

I'm glad I took the high route. Much more interesting up and over the mountains on I90.

Start planning for 2013 so I have another excuse to go West.
