PF Caravans - "Synch-Up" Location

Folks,

There's a Motel 6 just north of the exit to Pigeon Forge. It's at exit 407 - where we get off I-40 and onto TN Rt 66 toward PF. I suggest this as a possible meeting place for the "Grand Shark Caravan" into Pigeon Forge.

I know STINGRAYJim had mentioned some places around there, but a motel parking lot sounds like it might be big enough for several Sharks to gather for our "Grand Entrance" into PF.

The folks meeting up in VA will be there around 3PMish or so. We could hang out a bit and wait for others to show up. Or ... we could come back there at a better time for he largest group.

Whast do you all think?

Are you thinking Thursday or Friday?

The Dallas group will be in that area approx. 6pm, on the 22nd...
Our plans are to meet up with the West Coast Caravaners in Nashville around 4pm, if all goes well, and then shoot on over on 40e to the 407 exit south on 66.

I'm thinking on Thursday - after we meet the VA & NJ/PA folks in Wytheville, VA. Thursday seems to be the day most folks are arriving in PF.

We can come back to the Motel6 around 6PM and meet you folks.

General - I'm thinking the Motel6 parking lot should be big enough to handle our 40-50 vettes. And, folks can use its address to map a route to it easily - without needing "local landmarks" to find another suitable location.

I was talking about a "caravan" meeting place for our "Shark Grand Entrance" into Pigeon Forge. Just trying to find a convenient place we can "form up a parade of Sharks" and go into PF as a group. And, yes, we're staying at the Comfort Inn.

Terry, we might as well go check in and then head back up the road to meet the later group. Maybe you should ask the Motel 6 if they mind 40 or so Vettes using thier lot as a meeting point, we may fill it up!
