Was checking through a 2004 TN Tour Book. The Dolly Parton Dixie Stampede sounds like it might be a fun thing to do as a group - maybe on Friday night. If there's enough interest, I'll contact them and see if we can get a group rate and, of course, a corvette parking area. Here's what the tour book says:

DOLLY PARTON'S DIXIE STAMPEDE DINNER & SHOW: 1 mi. NE. on US 441 at 3849 Parkway. The program includes 32 horses, trick riders, music, comedy, dancers, singers and audience participation themed around a friendly North/South rivalry. The evening starts with traditional Smoky Mountain music in the non-alcoholic Dixie Belle Saloon. The main show follows in a 35,000 square-foot arena and includes a four-course, country-style feast. A special Christmas Show, "Christmas At Dixie," runs mid-November through the first week of January.   Allow 3 hours minimum. Shows nightly at 6 PM, Apr.-Dec.; otherwise varies. Admission $34.99; ages 4-11, $18.99. Reservations are required. AX, DS, MC, VI.

HEY GUYS  ME AND THE WIFE AND KIDS WENT ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO AND IT WAS A BLAST. THE SHOW WAS GREAT, WITH ALOT OF INTERACTION FROM THE PEOPLE THERE TO WATCH, YOU EAT YOUR DINNER WITH YOUR HANDS, SO MAKE SURE THAT YOU WASH THEM BEFORE GOING. I THINK THAT ANYBODY WOULD ENJOY THE STAMPEDE. OH YEA DOLLY WAS NOT THERE WHEN WE WENT.

I still need to find out what else we can do during our stay.  More on that later. In the meantime... I'd be curious about a group rate.  Could you check?  Thanks!
Is Miss Dolly gonna be thar?
My lady asked me that to.   I told her 'You think a star/ceo would be at a place like this all the time.'

She should be their at least 50% of the time to meet some people that are attending and giving her monies.

It would be great to see her their when we are their.
