Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
Now that the 2016 Member Gathering is behind us, it's time to get suggestions for our 2017 location!
According to our 3-region rotation schedule, we need to pick a location in the Mid-US region. Here is a link to a map of the 3 regions that shows all past locations.
Add your suggestion by replying to this thread. If you can, suggest a time of year to visit too.
At the end of August, i'll compile a list of the suggestions and put together a voting poll to choose the location.
I'm going to start things off with my suggestion: Austin, TX.

Kansas City, KS.
It is centrally located, has lots of interesting things to see and do.
Mid July would be ideal.

Cool music scene (and Joel's)in Austin.
Great BBQ, sports, cars and planes in and around KC.
I'm gonna suggest New Orleans. Bourbon Street, 'nuff said. I just get the biggest grin when I think of Sarge and I getting hammered on Bourbon St...how much do we save up for bail money?
Dave C..........My mantra: I can not be bought!! Long and short term leases available.

South Dakota? Black Hills (just have to stay away from main Sturgis time) or Bad Lands areas? Although my wife is going for the New Orleans option, too!

Dat's big negatory on the "Applefest"....there will be NO festivities of any kind at my house...I have neighbors....and I KNOW youse guys....

But sure....ya'll git yer passports updated, and come on down to Texas...in August. Weather will be great!

Anything that is planned for most areas of Texas would have to be in June/July, or late May, or it's just gunna be too damn hot.
