Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
I for one would prefer to take 2 days and enjoy the drive, the company, the weather, the rest, the peace and quiet, oh sorry, no quiet chambered pipes, LOL.
I am thinking on driving up to tacoma and staying overnight so we can drive the trip together, let me know what a think and where you plan on crashing, or there might be a place at our house if you all want to drive up here to see nowheresville.

Keith if you are leaving from Kelowna then we should be knocking on your back door the whole way. We are planning to be in Kelowna the previous weekend and leaving from there as well for Tacoma to meet with Terry.  We are definitely going to have to hook up for the drive to Tacoma.

Was thinking of heading down 97 towards Moses Lake and then down to Tri City area and 395 down thru Oregon but still a long way off and I'm still open to suggestions.  So far looks like we're the only two Canucks planning on heading down.  Will keep watching the posts to see what transpires.  I'd like to take my time heading down as there's a lot of beautiful country to enjoy and I'll have to get out and stretch every now and then only six months after hip surgery I'm having next month.

Joel your freakin killing me here. I thought I cracked a rib laughing at the Polar Bear, I mean Terry, until I saw Terry dancing for joy LOL LOL LOL Cracked 2 more on that video.

Why am I just seeing this thread? Maybe you started it while I was away sluffing off Confused  I'm a go for this one this year and will travel whatever route that will allow for the most Sharks to link up with us. I don't know if the wife will make it or not but gonna plan for two.

Thanks again for all the planning and research you doing Terry Clap

Terry-

I didn't see the details of your schedule.  We'll probably end up making it a two-day trip also.  Can you forward me your schedule?

My wife will just be going back to work around June from being at school (ANCOC) for almost two months.  She's not sure her job will let her take the leave after she was gone to school for that long.  Oh ya, did I mention shes active duty military in the Army here at Ft Lewis.  Shes still not 100% sure about the school either so we will have to wait and see what comes up.

I'm all for the 2-day trip, and stopping in Bend. I've lived out here for almost 10 years now and have never seen any part of Oregon east of I-5 corridor.

All I see on that picture is a dark green car and lots of woods...!!!  LOL

The drive from Bend to Crater Lake is nice with the mountain range along the west side of the road.  And once you head up into the park the views just get better and better.  Check with the park before heading up there (Crater Lake NP website).  We were there in late May a couple of years ago and the drive around the rim was still closed due to the amount of snow up there.  The road to the south rim visitor center and lodge is usually open year round so you can at least see the lake.
