Folks,

Sorry, but I won't be able to join you all in Carson, NV in June, 2007. I got a "better offer"........

The NCM called today to inform me I had won the NCM Mediterrian Cruise raffle. The Cruise is 16-30 June 2007 - right on top of the C3VR Member Gathering in Carson City, NV. Oh Shucks ... What a choice - Carson City, NV for 3 days OR Venice, Athens, Santorini, Rome, Naples, Florence, Nice, Barcelona for 12 days!! Uh, the Cruise won - hands down.

Gonna miss seeing you all, but ... this'll be the "Honeymoon" the Frau and I never had. But ... I'll post some pictures when I get back.

I was rather looking forward to going to NV - guess that'll have to be another vacation.

Terry, you and Bev have to behave (yeah right) on this cruise. You are C3VR ambassadors of a sort. Your places will be missed in NV but if I were in your shoes the decision would be a "no brainer". That meaning my wife would have made it for me... Enjoy & take care you two.

Actually, it WAS a "no brainer"!! We're both very excited about this one. It's several places I've always wanted to go to - and I've really, really wanted to take Bev on one like this. So ... a belated HoHo to ourselves. Thanks to all for the nice comments.

Dennis - The NCM is planning an Alaskan Cruise in mid to late August, 2008. We're thinking seriously about doing that one, too.
