Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed
Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.
2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
We'll give you dirty looks and make fun of you (in fun), but we'll just be glad you're there.
Hope all is well for you down in MS. Been watching the news about all of the tornadoes down there
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

My 78 is a 5 speed and the 90 is an auto (either car would make the trip. over the last year i have developed parkinsons and with the cruise control on the 90 I would get some leg and foot relief on the interstate. The reason I put Wednesday as my decision date is at that point I will start the final prep for the trip. I really hate to bring a C4 to a C3 gathering and the C3 also has more room in the rear.

You mean the C4 has more room in the rear! As long as you can make it, it's OK by me! I'd prefer the C3, but I'd also like to see you comfortable on the trip. It's up to you!

I think your thrill will be greater being in such a large group of C3, but that is just part of the fun. Being with a bunch of great people counts also.
Your choice, but would love to see that car.

Several members drive their c5s on a long trip and we still love them. Just get there.

Just bring your "bod" to the gathering. As long as you drive a "C", thats all that really counts!!

Howard - while it would be nice to see your C3 if the C4 makes it an easier trip for you by all means drive it. I've taken "The Beast" to a couple of gatherings and not been harassed too badly...!!!
