A great steak place in Portland is the "Ringside".   Don't know about Seafood, but there has got to be a great place.  I'm going to try and make it down to Portland for the gathering.

I know this is a tad early but only 68 days until the car is shipped to Tacoma and only 74 days until I pick it up in Tacoma and only 77 days until the, West Meets East Corvette Caravan is assembled in Portand and heads out in the direction of EAST. I will reconfirm hotels along the way next month. If any caravan member has questions or  ideas now is the time..Terry

West Meets East Corvette Caravan Update,

As it stands now I spielman5 will leave Tacoma, Washington on June 18th and head for Portland Oregon to hook up with Iron82.."NEWS FLASH" I will now have company on my cruise to Portland, corvette427 and 1badLT1, will travel down to Portland and make sure Iron82 and myself get headed in the right direction. We will depart Portland in the A.M. on June19th heading East. In the early afternoon we will hook up with suncountry in the area of I-84 and Pendleton Oregon. The three of us will travel to Ogden Utah and clock in about 730 miles. The  next day the 20th of June is a long haul for about 810 miles with us stopping at Lincoln, Nebraska. On the 21st of June we will hook up with mmrdl1971 at Kansas City, Missouri on I-70. Then 60 miles east of St Louis, Missouri we hook up with red70-oneconv.  Then its hook up time with jetta 111, out of Moro, Illinois on I-64 East. We will end for the night at Clarksville, Tennessee. A 710 mile day. The next day June 22nd will be sleep in and maybe a swim day in the morning, we will move slowly into NASHVILLE looking to hook up with the Corvette Caravan from the great state of TEXAS..( If they make it?) I bet by then every state trooper will be snooping around to see what's going on?? Once the two Caravans merge we will proceed to Pigeon Forge in grand Style.. A Parade.. We will flip a coin and pick a grand marshal from the Caravan out of Texas to lead the way..

Labor Day Parade This is subject to change due to weather and car parts availability..

Terry,

I PM 82Mike on this.   He might join us at THE DALLES for a quick visit or small drive to Utah.   I do hope he can join us.   I will contact him in one month to see where he stands from his work schedule.

We can just go downtown and find a nice seafood resturant for all of us when you guys arrive in Portland.
