Caravan to the 25th Gathering...

Looks like there is some interest in going to Virginia next year.  Any folks from the northeast/New England interested in forming a string of cars?  We're in northeast Vermont and would like to swing around New York City if possible.  Any route suggestions would be most welcome.

If you pass through Philly on that Wednesday I could join along. But not sure what I'll be driving. Probably my daily and not a Vette. 😔

An initial look at Google Maps highlights 3 possible routes for us ranging from 11 to 12 hours (2 pretty much right thru NYC and 1 rainbowing around to the west).  That duration is no longer "fun" for us so would probably break it up with an overnight somewhere.  "Big city" traffic isn't necessarily a problem (been thru Chicago enough times!) but would like to minimize the potential headaches as much as possible.

After The Gathering we are planning to continue further south along the Eastern Seaboard to visit family and sites so would not be returning directly to the NEK (NorthEast Kingdom).
