I would sure like to join you when you cruise through ATL...

Let's keep an eye on this and firm plans up as we get a little closer!

Meanwhile, I'm headed to Kissimmee next Friday fro the NCRS meet. You going to be there?

Vette(s): Coupe 74 - 454 Drive it like you stole it!
I'm planning to. (From Valrico)

Right now, my car wouldn't make it, but I have 5 months to get it up to par.  Worst case, I'll just take my Explorer, but that wouldn't be as fun.... More space and comfort... but not fun!  I could also rent a trailer and haul the Vette over there.  Right now, it's good for short run, but I never did over 100 miles straight.

From Tampa, it's a 660 miles trip (15 hours, give or take 3 ).

Theresa, are you planning on going straight or over 2 days ?  ATL would actually be a good stop.

Hi Guys, My wife and I would love to meet up for the drive to Pidgeon Forge! We are just outside of Atlanta (NE). There are two ways to go, I-75N to Knoxville or the scenic route thru the mountains, both are about the same in time, I-75 is longer in mileage, but a faster drive, scenic is shorter in miles but a slower drive due to all of the curves.

Here is a possible route using I75.
If it were me in my Vette, I would take the scenic route through the mountains and all those curves.

Hey dwright!

Thanks for the directions! Whatever way they want to go is fine with me...I miss the mountains and hills, this state is really flat!

Vette(s): 1978 Base model, White w/red int. L-48, 4-speed, wide ratio. Has 82 CE wheels. New HEI & LT1 Headers now. UPDATE, NEW Tremic 5-SPEED installed. 2007 C6 Yellow Conv. Loaded. UPDATE-Sold Sept. 2021 2016 C7 Yellow Coupe, Z-51, lots of other options.

Theresa: I'm planning on going too.  I'm 80 mi. South of Atl, 10 mi. E. of I-75 in Warner Robins, Ga. Would love to join the caravan if you have room for one more.

The trip thru the MOUNTAINS is beautiful and there are several ways to go depending on how much time you want to spend from mid-Ga. or the Atl. area. That can be worked out later depending on where everybody joins the caravan.

               Talk to you later, Chuck
