Well, we've lost one of our brothers for this trip.
Bry75229 has given up any hope of getting his 'Vette back(in one piece) in time. Bummer...

Kerry,

If I were you, I would call Monday to the shop to keep them on their toes about having those breaks done buy the next day.   I do this to my shop all the time.    Good Luck and see you there.

I took a six hour drive to Corvettes of Dallas yesterday afternoon to pick up the right size strut rod bushings. I paid for them over the phone and he left them in the trash can for me. Another exercise in futility. The mechanic, and I use that term loosely, working on my car was susposed to be done with it today, just called and said he blew a seal in his Porta-Power so he couldn't get the strut rods back on until 'sometime' Monday.   Do you NEED a Porta Power to put strut rods on or is he just BS'ing me again?

I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...

No... it will be Mama & me meeting you at the Lowes, I-30/Galloway @ 5am. Then we will meet up with Kerry(Reds92CE) in Greenville. From there we will meet Dwain(Longhorn294) in Texarkana.
I talked to Dwain earlier. Hopefully he's got Gomer straightened out!
