OK....since it looks like the "Gathering" will take place in Jul/Aug timeframe, who might be making plans to drive out from Taxes(oopps!! Texas)?
Will be going from Dallas, east on I30 to Little Rock; from there, east to Memphis, and on to PF from there. Could be a one day drive from Dallas, but could also be an easy two day run. Any takers?
I will be driving the '74, most likely with Mama following in the '85, or the Cad., for support.(that, and she don't like long trips in the '74! )
Can ya'll say, "CORVETTE CARAVAN?!!"

Joel, we could sure use your help, if you and your, "corvette caravan" could please entertain the highway patrols in the areas of your travel so our "Corvette Caravan" traveling East in central US could slip past without incident we would sure owe you a cold one when we get to Pigeon Forge TN. You know a distraction.Terry

Well, Otay but....we ain't gonna be in the same area until around Nashville, and I'm not sure yet if we even be goin thru N-ville Might be goin 'round it. But....I'll see iffn we caint get them(th' Fuzz) an advance notice of you-all commin thru...that'll keep 'em off me!!
Do be aware of the laws of each state reguarding the use of radar defectors, tho. They are illegal in some states.
I will have the trusty 40 channel Midland(CB), plus the two-ways, for keepin track of Mama.

Joel, Thanks for the tip. I only find the state of  Virginia to be illegal for radar detectors? Not going into that state so I'm going to use every device known to man to protect the Corvette Caravan, and anyway Iron82 will be our point man we will let him take the hit? When we see him on the side of the road with the "bears" the Corvette Caravan will cruz by like respectable lawful citizens..he he.  What a great guy that Mike..The state of Minnesota has a law that it is illegal to suspend anything from the windshield and South Dakota's laws are hidden, not able to find? Anyway we all should be safe and can't wait to meet you all, happy motoring..Terry
