It sounds like fun Adam. Hopefully Sassi will be up & running so that we can take her. She's never been to the NCM.

Count me in. Currently my plan is to drive there, although, I'm still in "negotiations" with the car - see if she's up for the trip and all.... :)
Wouldn't mind going in tandem with anyone else coming from the NY/NJ/PA/CT area!

Let me offer some advice: let trailered vehicles run in their own Caravan! Past August, 8 couples in Cruise cars drove from Pittsburgh to "WOODWARD Avenue" (Detroit). 2 vehicles were trailered: '70 Plymouth GTX w/"6-pack", geared low; I can see why: sucking gas and probably couldn't go above 60mph, anyway. And an original owner '65 Chevelle 'vert with a fresh engine (WHY??? It was taken to Cruises and had a couple of hundred miles on it). NOTHING MORE BORING than following a "U-Haul" trailer going 52mph! (though it's fender decals said "Not OVER 45mph"). We caravanned because we hadn't been there before, were staying in Warren, Mi. Return trip, a bud of ours with a '66 Chevelle (we had the '57 "PinkLinc") and I "bailed" on the rest and boogied on home at POSTED speed...MUCH better!
Aside: We got there Wednesday evening, a.m. Thursday we all toured WOODWARD, hit the Chrysler Museum, stopped at a big Cruise at a shopping center @ Woodward & 13 Mile Road...AND ALL THE LIGHTS WENT OUT! The BIG Eastern U.S. black-out: no traffic lights, no gas, no water, no restaurants open, the Casinos closed within 1/2 hour (but we survived)

I will make plans to see if I can make this. Hopefully I will have the paint and interior done by then.
