- Driving the Vette
- Believed start date of 19 June
- Arrival Date of 20 June
- Depature date of 24 June
Looks like we will have a great convoy this year, just hope every one stays with it. I did confirm my time off from work today for the two weeks surrounding the event.
I think Terry's start time is because hes starting from Alaska. I think leaving from WA on the 19th would work best, what do you think?

Leaving Oregon on the 19th. Going to North Lake Tahoe, on to Carson City.
Will be staying the Carson City Holiday Inn on the 20th through the 23rd.
I'll be driving the WETVET.

I'm in the process of moving from Everett, WA to Lake Oswego, OR.
I'm planning on going but will tow the Vette on a trailer.
Besides if someone breaks down, then we have an avenue to get the car
to a repair facility. The Vette gets too hot to drive that
far (wife would divorce me if she had to ride in it that
far). I don't have my exact travel dates yet but will try
and hook
up with the Washington caravan that is leaving on the 19th.
Should be two of us.

We probably aren't going, mainly because of the heat. It was in the 90's at P.F. I drove through the desert in May Of 1988, the heat was mean. My wife wants to fly, I want to drive the Vette IF we go.
It will be great fun to drive across the country, it was super fun driving to P.F. last year. I'm wishing you guys to have a safe, well and trouble free trip. Maybe see you, mabye not. Gene

Ok, Adam, ya caught me. Here's the info as far as it is right now. We are making this into a summer vacation that will last about 2 weeks, so we don't have all the start and end dates firm yet. Got a lot of family in California and Utah to see.
- How many people (including yourself) are coming (P) 2- My wife, Margie and I
- Where you are leaving from (City & State) Wichita, Kansas
- How you are traveling (driving vette (V), driving other (D), flying (F), etc) (T) Flying to Las Vegas, renting a car, eventually driving to Carson City
- The date in June you are starting your trip to Carson City (S) @June 15
- The date in June you expect to arrive Carson City (A) June 20
- The date in June you expect to leave Carson City (L) June 24
- The Hotel you are staying at (Holiday Inn Express (H), Days Inn (D), other (O)) (H). Days Inn
