I couldn't even get out of Tennessee.... 4th (OD) and reverse went out 50 miles out of Nashville, turned around and drove home in 3rd. Once in my driveway and headed toward the tranny shop, only had first.... It went to the shop on a rollback wrecker...

Twenty-two hundred dollars and 3 days later I have a good 31 spline solid 700R4 built to take anything I can lay to it on street tires. I did let the tranny shop honcho talk me into a low stall converter, which was probably a mistake. I gotta learn how to launch the thing without a bog all over again.

The only thing worth saving on my old 27 spline tranny was the case. The rest of it was trash.
