Left home on 4/13. Returned on 4/24. 12 days on the road.
Drove 3,361 miles.
280 miles per day.
Burned 137 gallons of mostly premium gas.
Spent $485 on gas.
Averaged 24 mpg at $3.53 per gal.
Spent about $500 on motels, food, attractions, museums, souviners, etc.
Took 441 pictures. Actually more, but I had to keep erasing the bad ones when the card kept getting full.
C3VR 2008 Gathering- Priceless.
Can't wait for 2009.

Vette(s): Used to own a 1979 Corvette now owned by JB79
Next year it will practically be in your back yard, so many of those numbers will be much lower.

Actually, as for New England, RI and Newport; been there, done that.
I would prefer Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach, Virginia Beach, Skyline Drive, Smokies, Jykell Island.
But that's a whole new thread, about six months from now.

Dave: Glad to see your home safe and sound and enjoyed the road trip, I enjoyed every minute of my trip too. Good to see you again and lQQking forward to next year also. Where don't really matter just as long as we can have a good time and enjoy all of these fine people that most all of us consider an extended family now.

LQQking forward to seeing all those pix's, Chuck
