Vette(s): 2004 Commemorative Edition Coupe, Auto w/HUD. 13K miles in 2015. Sold 1982 Red Coupe
Left home on 4/13. Returned on 4/24. 12 days on the road.
 
Drove 3,361 miles.
 
280 miles per day.
 
Burned 137 gallons of mostly premium gas.
 
Spent $485 on gas.
 
Averaged 24 mpg at $3.53 per gal.
 
Spent about $500 on motels, food, attractions, museums, souviners, etc.
 
Took 441 pictures. Actually more, but I had to keep erasing the bad ones when the card kept getting full.
 
C3VR 2008 Gathering- Priceless.
 
Can't wait for 2009.

Next year it will practically be in your back yard, so many of those numbers will be much lower.

Actually, as for New England, RI and Newport; been there, done that.
I would prefer Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach, Virginia Beach, Skyline Drive, Smokies, Jykell Island.
 
But that's a whole new thread, about six months from now.

Vette(s): 1978 Base model, White w/red int. L-48, 4-speed, wide ratio. Has 82 CE wheels. New HEI & LT1 Headers now. UPDATE, NEW Tremic 5-SPEED installed. 2007 C6 Yellow Conv. Loaded. UPDATE-Sold Sept. 2021 2016 C7 Yellow Coupe, Z-51, lots of other options.
 
    Dave: Glad to see your home safe and sound and enjoyed the road trip, I enjoyed every minute of my trip too. Good to see you again and lQQking forward to next year also. Where don't really matter just as long as we can have a good time and enjoy all of these fine people that most all of us consider an extended family now.Hug
