We have booked a room. Hopefully things will not change by then. It will be a long drive.

GREAT...!!! You'll be challenging "Road Warrior" dwright for miles traveled to a Gathering! Actually I think the Spielmans may have the longest trek on record coming from Alaska to the 2006 Gathering in Tennessee but Dave DEFINITELY holds the record for total mileage as I believe he has attended most, if not every, Gathering. Check with other members along your route for the potential of driving together. It's a fun thing to do (I've done it several times) and it makes the trek more enjoyable.

Wow! Such short notice as the hotel is filling fast. Nabbed a "queen" room... Last time I attended an event in Virginia was a family reunion at a place called Shrine Mont, in 2019. Drove my brand new Ecoboost Mustang and wished I could return soon and take more time to tour in the neighborhood. Looking forward to this for sure. The car will be nearly the same color at least! Won't suffer abuse when I stop by NCM this time by showing up with the Mustang.

@katanaman awesome! I'll add you to the list at the top of the thread.
I had to give the hotel a number of rooms to block to start. I should be able to increase if/when needed.
Looking forward to seeing you there!

Hey Folks - all of you have expressed that you are planning to attend the Gathering but have as yet to let us know about your lodging plans. If you are planning to stay at the host hotel please reply as soon as you can so more rooms can be added to the block. Thanks so much.

To the folks listed above... you have indicated that you are interested in attending the 2026 Member Gathering but have not yet indicated that you have booked a room at our host hotel. Please take a moment to check out the hotel info and book a room soon, then reply the hotel thread to let us know you're booked.
If you will be attending the Gathering but not staying at the host hotel, that is totally fine, but please let us know that so we know to expect you to attend the event, but not to count you for a room needed.

While the booking window is still open for a few months, we're just trying to get a good handle on who to expect and where they are staying. Remember, if you book now, you can cancel your entire reservation without penalty up to 7 days before arrival.

If you're waiting for a full agenda before making a decision, that is understandable, but know that it may not be finalized (or close to it) until maybe the end of December.

Thanks! I really hope to see all of you there in April!
