Hoping our gathering is the MidWest - haven't posted in a few years and I'm posting now just wanted to get back in the groove. Haven't had my car most of the summer due to an overheating issue that was giving me fits. Finally found a mechanic's shop everyone trusted up here and we got that solved (part of the problem was a faulty gauge). Got RUCRUZIN on the dyno two weeks ago for a master tune and they found that the jets in my dual carbs were 20 times larger than they needed to be. Rich gas mixture was creating havoc. Also I was able to pick up 65 horsepower through the tuning process. I am supposed to be able to pick her up later today and this guy could not be more excited... road trip to Mackinaw Island tomorrow!

Looks like Cincy/Indy is the clear winner....
But like John said, do we make this a single town or multiple town event?
Do we set up camp in the middle of the two?
Do we split the stay and stay half at one hotel in one city and the other half in the other city?
Are Marshall & Candi and Mark & Jan prepared/willing/able to help plan?

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

We had not really reviewed the hotel aspect when we originally discussed
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
